A 1v1 basketball league that its founder, Scotty Weaver, has described as an attempt to build “the UFC of one-on-one basketball”. It runs pay-per-view cards on TNCLeague.com and posts the rest to a YouTube channel with 1.12M subscribers. Its own tagline: Basketball Reimagined Through Creativity & Innovation. TNC pays per game, and prints some purses on the title card. Two are published for Caleb: $2,500 against Scottie Lewis and $1,000 against Mike Bruce. Weaver has described the founding model as one where “your ability to earn is directly tied to your performance in the video”. Contract terms, appearance fees and any pay-per-view revenue share are not published, and no purse is published for his other five games.
